The Dolomites · Italy
Our Story
The Dolomites are where we got engaged - where the jagged peaks, still lakes and endless alpine meadows first stole our hearts.
So we decided to ditch the big traditional wedding, and instead do the thing that felt truly us: an intimate celebration with only our nearest family and dearest friends, high up in the mountains that mean the most to us. We can’t wait to finally bring you here.
The Weekend
Everyone arrives and settles into the hotel - the weekend begins together
A day up in the mountains where we first fell for the Dolomites
Our wedding day, followed by dinner all together at the hotel
A lazy start by the pool, then the emerald waters of Lago di Carezza
Slow farewells and warm hugs before we all head home
The Destination
This is where we got engaged, and where we can’t wait to return - this time with all of you. Cathedral-like peaks, mirror-still lakes and wildflower meadows as far as you can see: there is nowhere on earth we would rather gather the people we love.
We recommend flying into Venice. From there a rental car is essential - and the drive up into the mountains is a stunning one
Please don’t sort or pay for a hotel - your accommodation for the whole weekend is our gift to you for being there
Long, bright days, cool alpine evenings, and meadows in full bloom
Seceda, Alpe di Siusi and Lago di Carezza - the corners of the Dolomites we can’t wait to explore with you
Good to Know
As this is such a small and intimate celebration, we’re sadly not able to offer plus ones. We’re so sorry for any inconvenience and hope you understand - it simply means more time with the people who mean the most to us, you included. And not to worry - we’ll be celebrating properly back home too (see below).
Please don’t book or pay for anywhere to stay - your accommodation for the whole weekend is our gift to you. We’ll share all the details about the hotel and your room a little closer to the time.
We highly recommend renting a car. The Dolomites are around a two to three hour drive from Venice airport - but honestly, it will be one of the most beautiful drives you ever take.
Not at all. We’ve purposefully chosen locations that suit every ability - gentle, slow walks with the most unbelievable views. And if you’d rather spend a day exploring the local towns or relaxing at the hotel, please do; there’s no pressure at all to join. If you’d like something more challenging, just ask and we’ll happily point you toward some tougher hikes.
July in the Dolomites brings warm, sunny days and cool evenings, so layers are your friend - along with comfortable shoes for the walks, sun cream and sunglasses, and something a little special for the wedding day.
For the wedding day itself we’re going for summer black-tie, optional. Think tuxedos and beautiful dresses, or a sharp black suit - anything that makes you feel your very best. The rest of the weekend is wonderfully relaxed, so comfortable, easy outfits are perfect for our days out in the mountains.
The celebration runs from Wednesday 12th to Sunday 16th July. We’d love to have you for the whole weekend - arrivals on the Wednesday, and slow goodbyes on the Sunday.
Absolutely. Just let us know of any dietary needs or allergies when you RSVP, and we’ll make sure everything is taken care of.
We completely understand - it’s a long way to travel, and we know it simply won’t be possible for everyone. If you’re unable to join us, please just let us know as soon as you can so we can plan everything properly. We’ll miss you dearly - and we can’t wait to celebrate with you at the party back home.
One More Thing
As this is such a small and intimate celebration, we would love to bring everyone but sadly we can’t. So once we’re back on home soil, we’ll be throwing a proper celebration in the UK - party style - where all our wider family, friends and plus ones can raise a glass with us. We can’t wait to celebrate twice.

We just need to know by June 2027, for hotel arrangements. A formal invitation will follow closer to the time.
